Critical Technologies Foresight for the Russian Media Industry

The article discusses the methodology of scientific forecasting of media development and related foresight of probable changes in the professional activities of journalists. The author analyzes the industrial reports made in Russia and other countries over the last decade, considering the obstacles foresight and presents its own plan media foresight describing steps to identify the critical technologies.
