As you now call? About the categorical and conceptual instruments of a new era of journalism

This article analyzes the conceptual structure of the new phenomena in the media sphere: convergence, multimedia and digitization of content. According to the results of analysis of categories author puts terms on semantic scope and accuracy. The article also discusses the changes in the architecture of the basic educational program of journalism associated with instrumental and technological competencies of graduates.
