Newspaper text as the source of translation skills formation (on the material of the British Newspapers)

The article is aimed at highlighting some problems of shaping translating skills on the basis of the course English for special and specific purposes of journalists developed by the author. Some difficulties and advantages of forming translating skills are identified and analyzed. The article represents some practical examples how to deal with difficulties while translating texts from British newspapers and how to use the obtained knowledge and skills in the professional creative activity.
