The social mission of Russian journalism in the era of the formation the newest media
The article investigates the competition and interaction of social networks and traditional media, to which the author refers and digital media, formed the model of its activities in the first decade of the XXI century. We analyze the effect of increasing networking audience on content production and content creation news agenda. The evolution of the social mission of national journalism at the present stage and the specific "network" threats facing the journalistic profession.
