Russian mediacriticism: the teachers have no school

In the present article the problem of a weak demand of media criticism among journalists is covered. Despite the considerable volume of publications in the federal mass media containing the analysis of a telecontent, the scientific and professional discussions of this phenomenon is in Russia while at a low level. Experts journalists have a mistrust to work of critics as they have no accurate criteria of the analysis of media texts, it isn't enough objectivity in estimates. It is necessary to overcome incompetence of journalists in the field of media criticism by means of discussions about its quality on pages of professional editions, and studying criticism as discipline at journalism faculties.
