Philosophical and social sphere of knowledge as a basis for the preparation of teachers of journalism

The article raises and settles the problem of philosophical and social knowledge as a necessary and relevant basis for the preparation of teachers of journalism and working journalists. It is proved that it is the activation of the sphere of knowledge, which by its nature and cultural experience initially and consistently opposed to utilitarian and pragmatic view of journalism (massmediynost), appealing to the analytic, increased reflection, clearly expressed personal top, high intellectual and moral responsibility for all said and done, will bring a highly professional journalist.
