THE INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN E-LEARNING FOR IMPROVEMENT OF THE QUALIFICATION OF MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS
The article examines some aspects of the international cooperation in the field of long-distance continuous professional learning (CPL) in medical education. The example of such co-operation between the Ural State Medical Academy (in Ekaterinburg, Russia) and the State Medical Institute of Bukhara (in Bukhara, Uzbekistan) is analyzed. The authors list some problems in the collaboration in e-learning, such as lack of regulatory documents and insufficient technical support. They do, however, show big advantages in use of Internet technology in CPL for improvement of qualification of the medical practitioners.
