E-learning as a GOOD for modern society

In recent years in mass media and in special interest literature there have been publications related to consciousness of place and role of e-education in modern society. What is it - good or harm? In this respect the systematic analysis of the advantages installed and gradually emerging of e-learning as a kind of tendencies of market development of educational services is of great scientific and practical interest. Taking into account the process of integration of information and communication technologies in all spheres of public life, the article gives some proofs for inevitability of formation and development of information society with the help of technologies. Moreover, the article gives some disproof of mistrustfulness concerning e-learning which are substantiated due to practical application of e-learning at Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics (MESI). The authors define that in the context of globalization, when labor processes are becoming more high-tech, in the labor market the requirements of personnel qualification increase; the importance and the positive role of educational technology is indisputably. Today, highly skilled specialists should possess professional skills, advanced knowledge, creativity and creative potential, practical skills for working with electronic sources, abilities of making personal bases of knowledge. Training of specialists of this level is possible due to new teaching tools aimed at advanced development, first of all, as an individual value-focused on knowledge, which become an important factor of intellectual, personal and professional development. All this characterizes the importance and necessity of improvement and development of educational technologies, which justify transformation of education in new substantial forms. Therefore, smart-education is now becoming very popular among these forms.
