The effectiveness of digital educational resources on study of history of kazakhstan for 10 form students in republic pilot schools
Characteristic feature of modern Kazakhstan education is the exacerbation of contradictions between the rapid growth of information capacity, complexity of the information environment nature and well-known conservatism in dynamics of the contents, organizational forms and teaching methods. The result is the problem of education matching the social situation in which the activity of secondary schools leavers takes place. One way to solve it is the conversion of educational content into the information and communication environment, which provides an appropriate level of formation of information culture of school leavers, the mastery of certain skills and knowledge, providing the correct orientation in modern information society. In the republic a number of conceptual and normative documents promoting the solution of this task, in particular, the State program of computerization in secondary education system of Kazakhstan, the Program of computerization in educational institutions of primary and secondary professional education, the Concept of computerization in educational system of Kazakhstan and others are developed. Since 2011, in Kazakhstan, a pilot project for the implementation of electronic training (e-learning) in 44 schools in the cities of Almaty, Astana, Karaganda and Karaganda region is realized. One of the main and important components of e-learning system is a digital educational content - content of education, enriched by the possibilities of modern information and communication technologies. Within the project of electronic training by the teachers of Ust-Kamenogorsk digital educational resources on History of Kazakhstan for students of 5-11 forms in Russian language were developed. They were posted on the Internet on the website of National center of Computerization. Each digital educational resource consists of four parts: multimedia presentation, texts and additional materials on a subject, interactive tasks and test material. Several regions, such as Astana, Almaty, Karaganda and Karaganda region participated in testing of digital educational resources on history of Kazakhstan in educational process of schools. The questionnaire responses were received from the teachers teaching in 10 forms, as well as from the pupils of these forms in 19 schools with Russian language training of the same regions. In the survey participated pupils from 21 classes-set (18 teachers and 434 students of 10 forms). Analysis of experimental data of teachers and pupils of pilot schools showed that the content and the form of digital educational resources stimulate the intellectual activity of pupils in the classroom and in extracurricular activities, develop their research skills, critical thinking, improve assimilation of historical knowledge, form and develop interest in learning of Kazakhstan’s history, evoke a sense of pride in the heroic pages of their country’s past and also choose the leading light.
