DESIGN ACTIVITY IN DISTANCE TEACHING STUDENTS TO AN ADVERTISING TEXT CREATION

The article is devoted to questions of professional competences formation in students with the major “Advertising and public relations” when working with advertising texts. It considers design activity within e-learning system of future specialists in advertising, describes the types of students’ activities used while developing text-forming competence. This competence is a fundamental one in teaching students to creation, writing and editing ad copy. The project method is one of the interactive methods of modern training. The method of projects refers to the system of learning in which the student acquires knowledge and skills in the independent planning and execution of the gradually evolving practical tasks - projects. In the process of project learning, students independently and willing acquire the missing knowledge from different sources; learn to use acquired knowledge to solve cognitive and practical tasks; get communication skills, working in different groups; develop research skills. The primary use of the project method in teaching writing of the advertising text is the opportunity students have mastered text-forming competence. The project method is one of the interactive methods of contemporary education. The project method is a system of education when students obtain knowledge and skills in the course of independent activity and performance of practice tasks or projects. During the design activity the students acquire knowledge with pleasure independently, learn to use the knowledge obtained for solving practical tasks, get communicative skills, work in different groups, and develop their research skills. The main objective of the project method usage when writing an advertising text is an opportunity to obtain a text-forming competence. The use of information and educational technologies and telecommunication systems in the educational process allows to provide feedback, individual approach to each student, determine the level of knowledge and control the assimilation of educational material, the use of the universal simulator for skills acquisition and practical application of knowledge, organization of collective (group) work, finding information in large sources.
