Modern education system of the Russian Federation requires the use of various educational technologies, including the availability of alternative educational space created on the basis of networking participants in the educational process. The development of various Internet technologies demands from the teacher their adequate using in practice. Modern students are using the Internet at a new level, and so it is perceived as something natural. They are able to handle multimedia and text information, work with multiple sources simultaneously and are fluent in tools to create their own web pages. Thus, the task of contemporary teachers is to organize a certain educational Internet space, including a plurality of electronic documents in various formats, which are required to increase the efficiency of the educational process. Promising directions in this area are the network and the cloud. Networking with a large set of communication tools can actively engage teachers and students to organize the exchange of information, to implement joint projects, which contributes to the formation of the critical thinking, tolerance education and ability to think together. The main feature of cloud computing is the lack of direct reference to the physical devices and the provision of base accumulated resources for their successful use by all participants of the educational process. The article discusses the possibility of using blogs for informational support in the educational process, as well as the provision of a comfortable environment of communication between teachers and students. It presents the didactic features of blogs and their technical characteristics. We consider our own experience of implementation of this technology in the educational process on the discipline “Databases” for the organization of student independent work. As a tool of educational interaction we suggest to use Blogger online service developed by Pyra Labs for blogging, which is nowadays the Google partnership property. It is noted a number of positive factors of using blogs in the educational process. The novelty of the technology is one of the motivating factors in teaching. Students are free to manage their own learning process via actively seeking information and getting comments from other people. Thus, the content of education and learning outcomes are being updated. The article presents an open, teaching, multimedia, supporting macroblog. It has didactic features of the teaching blog, such as interactivity, multimedia, and simplicity of use, safety and effectiveness of the information space organization. Thus, there are the conclusions that blogs have significant educational potential. Due to their use in work with students their cognitive activity is activated, motivation for learning of educational material is enhanced, and the level of creative self-realization increases.
