ANALYSIS OF METHODS OF ORGANIZING AND CONDUCTING EXTRAORDINARY COMPETITIVE ACTIVITIES IN REMOTE FORMAT
Modern students and schoolchildren participate in various extracurricular competitions, and this has a positive effect both on the formation of the professional way of thinking of the student, and on the formation of a positive evaluation of the activities of the individual student, teacher, as well as the entire educational institution as a whole. Therefore, the conduct of extracurricular competitions nowadays is very acute. The holding of such events in the remote format adds an impressive set of positive moments to the already available ones. However, the organization of extracurricular competitive events in a remote format, based on the principle of correspondence participation and the automation of the evaluation of competitive work, is still far from ideal. Modern web-based systems, for the most part, do not differ in convenience and informativeness in the field of viewing and the evaluating process of competitive work both for participants and the jury. The development of the systems like that does not take into account the modern trends in the design of web systems, interface organization and the usability evaluation. On the other hand, the organization of various competitive events in a remote format should mean the maximum automation of administrators’, participants’ and the jury actions. One important problem is related to the type of downloads, for example, such as programmable computer graphics, animated and video clips. The main goal of the article is to present the study and analysis of web systems for conducting extra-curricular competitive activities in the distance format as well as the efficiency and quality of both systems directly and activities in general, by identifying problems and bottlenecks in such systems and procedures for organizing and evaluating competitive work. Currently, you can find a small number of resources in the Internet that can qualitatively automate all stages of the process of holding competitive events in a remote format. Most of the resources consist of several sample pages describing the requirements and sequence of actions for taking part in the event, which definitely can not be called automation of the process of holding competitions and olympiads. The resources considered in this paper are the most qualitative in this segment. However, each of them has its own shortcomings. The resources aimed at processing work on programmable computer graphics, computer modeling or multimedia development, in general, are unified. The result of this study can be considered as a set of functional and general requirements for the development of web systems in the segment under consideration.
