THE USE OF ELECTRONIC EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE IN THE PRACTICE OF ADVANCED TRAINING OF UNIVERSITY TEACHERS
Modernization of the higher education system dictates different specification of contemporary pedagogical staff than it did earlier. The understanding of the nature of a competitive expert in higher education has changed lately As a result, attention to professional retraining and/or further training of university teachers and consideration to the development of their necessary professional competences has increased. Since the modern educational paradigm nowadays is completely subordinated to the process of computerization, while the success of a University is often determined by the technical capabilities of computer networks, which makes it possible to extend the educational field, to contribute significant changes making learning process more comfortable and accessible for different categories of students, it is appropriate to apply the latest technical tools and information technologies in the practice of the organization of training courses. In this connection, we have developed a software product that has been implemented with remote technologies. The construction and representation of the entire educational process is carried out with the help of educational Moodle platform, which gives an opportunity to access to the electronic library system, to integrate actively into the educational environment of multimedia files, video lectures, electronic testing, presentation material. This enriches the standard process of transfering information from a teacher to a student. In addition, the resource suggests “information tree”, which gives hyperlinks to the additional resources that can be studied at the request of the audience. It enriches the learning process and serves as an additional motivation to acquire knowledge in a certain area. Each semantic (thematic) module ends with testing tasks according to the principle of case-study or the preparation and solution of a semantic crossword. The second form of control is most often used in the study of conceptual framework themes and allows you to navigate it without difficulty. “Live” communication is also possible with the system administrators of the resource, in order to obtain technical support in working with the system within a learning group and with the teachers supervising the training unit using a specific forum or chat. The organization of the educational process which uses actively modern technologies enables to optimize the workload of the teacher, who significantly improves his/her skills without a break in the work; to facilitate the assimilation and memorization of important professional information; helps to understand the information received.
