ELABORATION AND APPROBATION OF THE QUALITY EVALUATION MODEL OF E-LEARNING MANAGEMENT IN LMS MOODLE
The method was proposed to build the quality evaluation model of e-learning management. This method consists of the following steps: - designing of the quality evaluation of e-learning management; - implementation of the quality evaluation of e-learning management; - formulation of recommendations to improve the quality of e-learning courses. The following criteria were chosen to evaluate the quality of e-learning management: - Taking into account the individual characteristics of students (the availability of various forms and options for intermediate and final tasks, depending on the level of complexity); - Increasing the level of motivation for learning (the availability of various forms of interactive and multimedia educational material, student incentive schemes for successful work); - Support for feedback from students (answers to questions on forums, comments on completed assignments); - Variety of forms of self-control and control (availability of various options for intermediate and final control, including interactive ones); - Diagnosis of learning outcomes (monitoring of the fulfillment of tasks, student activities); - Keeping a journal of students’ academic achievements (conducting an evaluation procedure, the results of which are available to students). Categories were formed from the listed criteria: the category of organizational support of electronic course and the category of the training control with help of courses. The presented categories correspond to important areas from the Open ECB - CHECK certificate. This certification allows assessing the quality and quality assurance of e-learning at the program level and at the level of training courses. Weighting coefficients were determined with help of hierarchy analysis method before evaluation of each criterion. Coefficients indicate the importance of a single criterion and category in relation to the main goal. The quality evaluation model of e-learning management in LMS Moodle was developed based on this method. Approbation of the quality evaluation model of e-learning management in LMS Moodle was held on 28 electronic training courses of the main educational program of the Master’s program “Digital Technologies in Social and Humanitarian Practices” in the field of training 09.04.03 Applied Informatics. Indicators were obtained for each categories, because of using of the method of quality evaluation of e-learning management in LMS Moodle and rating of courses were generated and recommendations were formulated for course quality improving.
