QUALITY CONTROL OF ELECTRONIC EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The extracurricular arrangement via e-learning and distance educational technologies has a great number of advantages both for students (as participants of the process), teachers (as organizers of the process) and for educational institutions. However, in view of opportunity and necessity for carrying out extracurricular measures via e-learning and distance educational technologies the question naturally arises how to arrange the extracurricular student activity with the help of electronic educational resources in high level and how to develop the algorithms and descriptors for quality assessment of these resources. The paper marks three main stages for working with extracurricular electronic educational resource: development, implementation and actualization. On each stage the main components for assessment of electronic educational resource quality for extracurricular activity, their possible descriptors and characteristics have been considered. On the stage of the development, an evaluation of content component and engineering component (the way of the theme presentation and the design of the material in e-format) is integral. The content can be estimated by the coefficient of documentation presentation, the main component of which the performance of requirements to the event arrangement and the content itself are referred to. The engineering component is estimated with two indices: a coefficient of technical presentation and a coefficient of technical complexity. The coefficient of technical presentation for an extracurricular event should include three main features: - structuring and optimality of presentation (existing all components for measure arrangement); - feedback (tools for mobile maintenance and evaluation by the event participants); - visualization (the design of the electronic educational resource). The coefficient of technical complexity of an electronic educational resource for extracurricular activity coincides with this coefficient of the learning e-resource. It defines the technical complexity of e-resource content and reaches the unit amount for using interactive educational modules in it and the unit amount for their existence. On the stage of the implementation, it is important to estimate the level of usage of the e-resource, i.e. the participants’ activity. The coefficient of usage of the e-resource for an extracurricular event should take into account not only the total number of participants, but the participants’ geography, that defines the event status and its significance. On the stage of the actualization (in case of reusing this e-resource) the estimation of updating of the e-resource is demanded; it can be marked by the coefficient of mobility. The coefficient of mobility defines updating of interactive educational modules and their corrections. The corrective maintenance represents some measures for quality coefficient improvement on the second stage as well as questionnaire processing and registration of necessary corrections. Using the descriptors developed for each stage of extracurricular events with use of e-learning and distance educational technologies, it is possible to analyze the level of quality improvement of the event according to certain criteria (the participants’ number, their geography, the event status, and etc.)
