Political Consciousness of Russian Students: Public Solidarity, Trust, Interaction

The article analyzes the main trends in the development of the political consciousness of Russian students in the aspect of public solidarity formation. Students as the most dynamic social and professional group and, at the same time, the human resource of public administration, corporate structures and systems for ensuring the reproduction of human capital (education, health care, social support, etc.) demonstrate the level of acceptance / rejection of certain behavior models to the greatest extent. Public solidarity in this study is considered as a system of spiritual ties of society, uniting citizens of the state and ensuring the state's integrity and social integration as a complex organism. This makes it possible to comprehensively study the conditions for the consolidation of national communities, to determine the conditions and factors of their development, the ability to overcome disintegration processes. The article discusses the topical problem of the formation of young citizens' political positions, views and behavior models. Traditionally, sociologists, political scientists, social psychologists, teachers, and anthropologists pay much attention to this problem: a variety of theories and approaches can be applied to explaining sociopolitical processes, and assessments of the prospects for political changes can be made. This research interest is not accidental, since, on the one hand, the range of issues related to the mechanisms of transferring social experience, the acquisition of new qualities and properties by young people is of great importance in connection with the need to understand the patterns and features of the political process. On the other hand, research in this area makes it possible, at least in general terms, to imagine what will happen tomorrow, especially, to see the contours of the social structures whose political positions and preferences can significantly predetermine the development of the entire Russian society. Will young Russians for the most part get into the precariat and, accordingly, become a "new dangerous class" deprived of significant volumes of social guarantees in comparison with their parents and ready to actively defend their interests through anti-systemic actions, relying on direct conflict with any government? Or will today's students, working youth and unemployed / carefree youth be able to find themselves in a complex society and realize their own ambitions, in professional, sociopolitical and personal terms? In addition, in this study, an attempt has been made to present the possibilities of state policy to influence the strengthening of public solidarity in the youth environment, or rather in the student community.
