Virtualization and americanization of religion in the muslim East

Modern researchers have noted the increasing role of the Media in the Religious and Political life of the Muslim East: we can recall a significant importance of mass-media, especially social networking and video sharing services, during the "democratic" revolutions in the region. Technological-futurological scenario of the Internet revolution, digital, informational, virtual and electronic society determines the trends of the development. The concept of the Informational Virtual Reality as an explanation for the observed physical world is becoming more and more adequate among the Islamic scholars. The role of the U.S. media in the shaping of the public opinion in the processes in the Middle East is rather significant. Representation of Islam in the area of Internet communications is realized as innovation to build an Islamic community network, and Islamnet is an important part of cyberspace. The radicalization of the modern Islam is also determinated by the influence of Internet technologies. In the dominant media-discourse Muslim believers have the negative characteristics very often, we can even constate the global multimedia delegitimization of Islam due to using of the Islamophobic cli-che.Islam appears as one of the most popular Religions in the World Wide Web, especially in the American segment of cyberspace. US-Muslim escalation of conflicts is manifested as intensive and expressive. United States is the main pole of the post-bipolar world order, and the Islamic world represents itself as a kind of alternative to the Soviet Union - it finds its expression in cyberspace. The global media, Hollywood and high-tech - are mainly the property of America, that is why a post-bipolar conspirological discourse and perception of the media as a latent U.S. war against the Muslim world are widespread. A characteristic feature of the American messianism in cyberspace is that the United States intends to continue the implementing of the democratization all over the world and to bring freedom to the world network. However, the methods used by the country, it is difficult always called democratic - in particular, it concerns the matters of informational and psychological warfare in cyberspace.
