The philosophical understanding of policy and contemporary (post)political situation
The article is devoted to the analysis of the main principle of political philosophy. Author states that philosophical understanding of politics is faced with two problems today. First, a description of the political world of modernity times exhausted. Traditional dichotomy (eg, right-left) can not describe the political reality. On the other hand, there is no reason to rely on the postmodern perception of social and political processes. Postmodernism as a reaction to modernity today is increasingly moving away and showing their contradictions. Philosophical approach to politics can be defined as the interpretation of the relationship of man to the world, which is filled with phenomenal political in its traditional, real and ideal forms. To this we can add the following definition: a philosophical understanding of politics is a philosophy that puts the question of the existence of things, the meaning of which is interpreted as political. Nowadays delimit political philosophy and political theory. For classical political thought such a distinction does not exist - the policy is understood as the science of good and fair and seen as the continuation of life ethics. At the base of understanding of the policy was put anthropological principle, developed by Plato. This principle is also found in Aristotle's works, as a political community for him is a space to actualize the human nature. In the context of modernity there is a requirement of the new structure of political world, but that does not cast achievement of modern and postmodern philosophy, but reinterprets them. Thus, we can say that one of the intentions that constitute the principle of our research is to find possible ways of reviving the social and philosophical interpretation of the policy. This commitment is embodied in an attempt to present a methodology that allows to understand the basic ontological dimension of the political world and reveal their deformations in conditions of (post)modernity. An important problem is position of philosopher in the political world. Political philosopher seeks to accomplish rational criticism, which is based on understanding. In addition, the interpretative nature of political philosophy is complemented by regulations - philosophical approach includes the ability to assess political phenomena. Thus political philosophy is defined as normative political theory. Philosophical analysis of the political world creates foundation of the policy framework, becoming a prerequisite for democratic theory, theories of political action, as well as understanding of its legitimization. Furthermore, the results obtained by understanding of the principles of modern philosophical understanding of policies enable us to obtain more insight into the political processes that occur in our societies.
