Sociocultural transformation and religiosity of russian society

This article analyzes the processes taking place in the religious life of modern Russia. Observed at the turn of the century outbreak of religiosity is due not only socio-economic and ideological reasons, but also the features of the Russian mentality, in which the formation of the important role played by religion. Actualization of faith in modern conditions is not of a nature of the understanding and execution of religious commandments, and shall be in an empty ritualization. Most often observed phenomenon of religious syncretism, chaotic connections of some aspects of different religions. From the point of view of the authors of this is due to the loss of the original synthesis of nomadic and hierarchical worldview, which is the most promising for the successful development of the society. Nomadic culture is more capable of self-independence community to nominate leaders of the masses. Hierarchical culture is characterized by centralization of authority, strict control and management. Adequate synthesis of these types of culture promotes the viability of the social organism, the development of successful economies, forming the leadership potential of man. The success of socialist construction in the USSR authors see in the intuitive achieve this synthesis, which was destroyed in the post-Soviet period. Analyzing the features of the Russian mentality, the authors draw attention to the accentuation of the traditional religions of spiritual labor, moral self-improvement, rather than labor, aimed at achieving material prosperity. Protestantism, which is actively exploring new territory and acquires followers in Russia, Buryatia, unlike Orthodoxy, Islam, Buddhism, and updates the leadership potential in their followers, directing their efforts to solve financial problems, to improve the quality of their lives here and now. Noting arose among Muslim philosophers of dialogue about the need for ijtihad, the authors talk about the need to reform the ethical foundations of world religions in order to create a new mentality, a more appropriate challenges.
