The politics of memory in modern France: between collaboration and resistance

In the article examines the political practice of constructing the image of events of the Second World War in the French public consciousness, based on the dialectic of memory and oblivion. The main trends of the evolution of official political and historical discourse in contemporary France are being analyzed.
