The search for God D. S. Merezhkovsky
At the turn of XIX-XX centuries in Russian thought in connection with reconsideration of the philosophical and religious heritage and role in the life of the country of the Orthodoxy began the movement of Russian social thought called God. The search for God was mixed and affected many Russian philosophers. One of them was Merezhkovsky, who offered in return to Orthodoxy of the new religion of the Third Testament. In the formulation of her ideas, he started from solovievsky idea of God-manhood, and the basic tenets of the spirit and the flesh, sex, "Holy flesh" tested in the trilogy "Christ and Antichrist", the essay "Mystery of Three" and "Coming ham". The efforts of Merezhkovsky and his associates Z. Gippius and D. Filosofov was not successful, and ideas of the religion of the Third Testament is not received from the Russian philosophers of the support. References
