Smart technology as a phenomenon: conceptualisation of approaches and philosophical analysis. Are smart technologies really smart?
The article provides a conceptual analysis of approaches to the concept of smart technology through the correlation of smart technologies with other types of technologies (digital technologies, information technologies, convergent technologies, etc.). A conclusion is made about the status of smart technologies in relation to other technologies, analogous to the categorical level of world perception in philosophy in relation to other concepts. The complexity of the choice of the grounds for a more precise definition of smart technologies is noted. It is substantiated that the feature of smart technologies is their ability to perform the functions of the subject. It is proved that, due to the variety and uncertainty of these functions of the subject, it is dangerous to rely on smart technologies in their "smart" impact without an adequate training of a society using such technologies.
