Riskogenics of the sociocultural habitat as a factor of social sentiment formation

The vulnerability of a sociocultural locus in three groups of factors - natural, anthropogenic and technogenic - predetermines habitat degradation under their unregulated influence. The habitat considerably loses its historical and cultural uniqueness, but risk escalation connected with the destruction of the visual shape of cultural and historical landscapes can negatively influence the identity of people living in these territories. Owing to the compatibility with the riskogenic environment the consciousness, emotional condition and behaviour of people change. Risks become social, they are accumulated when people design their own social reality and are concretised in ideas of it, influencing not only the perception of external environment, but people's life. The analysis of the connection was carried out on the basis of the data of expert and mass polls in regions with the maximum and minimum levels of environmental and technology-related risks that have an impact on the sociocultural subenvironment locus. The threats experts noted - the destruction of historical and cultural objects, historically developed cultural infrastructure and the basic foundations of national identity - are reflected on by the population in a different way. Due to the assessment of the level of life stability, satisfaction with life conditions, assessment of the social atmosphere in the region, the perception of the environment as riskogenic is not the same in different age groups. There is a raised reflection on threats connected with cultural monuments demolition, losses of historical memory, cultural traditions, ethical standards destruction, feelings of uncertainty and risk. A decrease in satisfaction with life conditions happens, to a great extent, under the influence of historical monuments demolition. Deterioration of the cultural atmosphere in the region and, in this regard, growth of social tension in the regions correlate with the demolition of cultural monuments, loss of historical memory, destruction of moral values. Herewith, the analysed threats ambiguously impact the social feeling of the youth with their greatest optimism towards social reality as well as the modern approach to the preservation of historical and cultural heritage which combines protection of material objects of culture with the updating of cultural traditions and moral standards.
