The history of ontology continues
The author replies to the critics, focusing on Putnam's skeptical scenario, the possibilities of ontological intuition and the project of social epistemology. It is suggested that without philosophical ontology, it is impossible to achieve an understanding of intellectual and social history and, in particular, the history of science.
