Culture as a Cognitive Factor of Political Socialization
The culture of a society in political socialization acts as a mobile many-sided symbolical access to the understanding and recognition of borders of senses and values, of possibilities of reproductions of a political culture, as a way of interrelation of representations about prestate and state organisations of a society and power relations that transmits their senses and forms from the prestate, daily spheres of interactions of individuals to the state ones. Culture expresses the diverse social cogito as abilities of a society to self-reproduction in time, to solidary historical creativity, to the choice of a way of life and evolution. The culture of a society in political socialization as an expression of the social cogito allows political culture and the state to "take care of themselves", to "manage themselves", to "transform themselves", to "check themselves", to introduce new possibilities, to adapt for the changing environment of evolution, to collect new symbolical forms. In this context, the culture of a society makes the choice and connection of forms of power relations in the society. The forms have both closed (for access to new information) and open character that determines the understanding of various representations about political culture, its events. The close and open understandings of political culture coexist due to the cultural complexes of indistinct, poorly defined representations about the orientation of power relations, as well as to the culture-specific knowledge of roles, including in modern education. Modern media technologies become an active intermediary in the given processes. They expand the variety and speed of influence of evolution and conditions of the social cogito on the understanding of political culture. Media technologies allow to quickly transform people's vital world, their ability to judge about political culture, select political information; to include in the understanding of political phenomena different sources of representations about the political world, its values, ways of political participation in the course of political socialization.
