Network Communities: Past and Future
Today, we are witnessing a spontaneous bifurcation in comprehending the essence of the social system. Bringing man back into the hub of the universe opened up an opportunity for them to build their own reality characterized by otherness and competing with the predetermined conditions developed as influenced by the specific features of the social machine functioning. The four-hundred-year period of social myths and revolutionary upheavals results in a natural implosion - a collapse of the social and the cultural "inward", to a person with their spiritual world. We see the development of objective conditions for an intuitive change in social axiomatics in favor of a network of singular "desiring-machines" as a dissipative system. The article attempts to determine the potentially possible topological outcomes of network "singularity"-its vertical "tower-shaped" or horizontal "areal" temporal orientation in their historical interconnections. It distinguishes between the concepts of network and network structure. The latter is always singular and hierarchical since it is determined by a certain "organizing" origin. For many years, hierarchical relationship models have truly served humanity, helping the authorities at all levels develop fairly stable social formations with preset parameters. Today, the structural dominance of hierarchies is seriously limiting the stretch of human imagination. The liberation of social practices from different kinds of regulatory principles substantially expands a person's space for creative construction of their own identity and the identity of others. We see the developing prerequisites for a regular, although intuitive, change in public axiomatics in favor of a network, considered as a set of multiple connections between its nodes - "desiring-machines". Multiplicity is well described by Deleuze's concept "rhizome", which should be considered as network ontology. Deleuze's rhizomatic optics gives us a chance to take a new look at the role of man as a "desiring-machine", since their internal, timeless development starts playing a key role in understanding the true existential essence and potential of the network axiomatics of sociality. The future of the network is human thoughts, emotions, and actions.
