Changing Demand for Education as a Reflection of the Transformation of the Social Norm
The article attempts to delineate social and political drivers for changes in the educational sphere. The authors focus on higher demands towards education as reflecting changes in the demographic structure of society. As one of the key among multidirectional trends in modern education, the demand for both efficiency and individualization is highlighted. The article explains the accelerated development of new educational formats and digitalization of education during the COVID-19 pandemic.
