New Game Solutions in Education: Gamification as a Technology for the For mation of Critical Thinking
This article analyzes the problem of using new game solutions (gamification) in the modern educational process. The author insists that the introduction of gamification has a definitely positive value, since it allows the modern education system to correspond to the complex and dynamic realities of the information society. The article concludes that gamification today is one of the most effective educational technologies aimed at introducing new game solutions into the educational process while maintaining a competent and careful attitude to the content of the disciplines studied. Gamification helps to strengthen motivation among students, develop skills to quickly master new information, and apply the knowledge gained to solve specific practical problems. In addition, gamification contributes to the development of critical thinking as a new standard of open rationality to the greatest extent reflecting the modern type of thinking and the new paradigm of education. Gamification can also and should be considered in a broader context, not only as a factor in the development of the educational process, but also as a factor in the development of civil society, consisting of free and educated individuals who have the skills of a critical attitude to manipulations of all kinds.
