Anonymous powers of habitus
In this essay, Ch. Schuesdiscussed the concept of habitus within, generally, genetic phenomenology, and more specifically, in regard to perceptual experiences, doubt, and misperception. The author argue that the powers of habitus are lying in a field of anonymity because the body and the self cannot be fully thematized. Experiences take place in the realm of anonymity. Hence, they refer to a pre-personal relation to the world, they imply a functional intentionality, and a form of passivity which itself is formed by habitualization and routinization.
