On the Logical Positivists' Theory of Truth
K. Hempelwrote this article in order to comment a discussion on the positivist conception of truth between M. Schlick and O. Neurath which took place in "Erkenntnis" (No. 4, 1934). He argues that the logical positivist's theory of truth developed step by step from the correspondence theory to the rigid coherence theory of truth and shortly presents the most important logical stages of this development.
