Does the word sensation refer to sensation? (discussing L. Wittgensteinsthe private language argument)
The private language argument presented in L.Wittgensteins Philosophical Investigations is discussed in the article. The argument wasimmediately connected with the rule-following problem in the discussions of the end of the twentiethcentury. the author asserts that this interpretation of the argument is not only one possible. On thefoundation of P. Hackers later writings the author offers a new interpretation of the private languageargument.
