Wittgenstein and Hacker on the language of sensations

The content of P.M.S. Hacker's "Can Different People Have the Same Pain?" is analyzed in this article. The different interpretations of so-called private language argument formulated in later L. Wittgenstein's philosophy are compared. The priority of Hacker's interpretation is proved.
