Informational basis of the management in the sphere of education: sociological approach
The article with the history of development and modern state of the system of higher professional education of modern Russia. The statements about the need to reduce the number of universities and the overproduction of humanitarians are scrutinized. It is shown that these theses are largely farfetched and related to the ambiguity of the approaches to the analysis of the problems of the sphere of education.
