The perception of power and political leaders in modern Russia. What's happened with our society?

Many researchers claim that during last several months the political situation in the country has changed. Political apathy and reluctance to participation in politics have been replaced by political and street activity, demonstrated even by people who have traditionally been far from politics (young people, people with the above average income level). And at the same time we should notice that actually no explicit changes (decline) of the situation happened. People going out to the meetings at prospect Saharova, Bolotnaya square in Moscow demonstrated unwillingness to bear with the situation, first of all its political side (We should notice that people didn't express any economical demands contrary to Greece for example). And the old claim heard from V. Tsoi in 90-s "We are waiting for changes" has again become actual for many citizens of our country. People's attitude towards political power has changed, and results of the research confirm it. In the project Political mentality, the power unit was analyzed. Compared to the power evaluation during Putin's period negative evaluations of the modern power increased significantly: 54% of the respondents expressed their negative opinion and only 10% were positive Many researchers of public opinion say that currently data of the quantitative polls do not quite reflect the real picture because the ratings of Putin and Medvedev are quite stable. As the results of our research show the evaluations of the regime are not that favorable, it is accused of not being able to solve the problems that the society is facing at the moment, corruption, irresponsibility (not fulfillment of the promises), being detached from the people. This excessive criticism is a quite dangerous trend. People are not ready to go out to the rally/ protest but they are interested in situation to change.
