The problem of studying the Internet as a new form of modern political communication is relevant to contemporary political science. Currently, the influence of the Internet on the mass consciousness of the people is carried out by forming a new political reality in which induces the production of a type of political views, rather than those which are available for people who do not have access to modern internet communications. In the course of the study the author possible to draw some conclusions: First, the emergence of the Internet as a means of mass communication has changed the nature of perception and processing of incoming information to a citizen of the world; Second, the process of transformation occurring features of mass communication with the advent of the Internet have greatly expanded resources group bringing people together in various community and contributed to the creation of such a thing as social media media that combines specific groups that are most subject to the concept of specialized audience. within these core audience, creating their own virtual reality; Third, we can say that it is not the reality shows in our minds and creates various forms of social and political activity of citizens, as prevailing in the social network is largely simulyakraticheskie political views dictate the ability of the political behavior of the citizens, putting them at the mercy of the virtual reality prevailing in today's Internet communication; Fourthly, it is possible to state that the political views generated by modern technologies of Internet communications, radically different from the political views of citizens who are not involved in political communication through new forms.
