Transformation of Contemporary Mass Consciousness of Russian citizens
Today the problem of transformation of modern mass consciousness of Russian citizens is actual and is discussed in scientific community. The author in article analyzes the processes of change occurring in public moods of citizens of contemporary Russia in last years, which updated the protest moods in the mass consciousness of the Russian society in 2012. The article dealt specific transformation of political representation of citizens which in 1990th were characterized by a sharp polarization in the different generational groups of estimations of activity of the Russian power, which determined the existence of "split" type of the Russian mass consciousness and identify features of the dynamics of contemporary social attitudes of Russian citizens, contribute to the manifestation of protest forms of political activity in 2012. As part of the article analyzes the political and psychological portrait of the mood of protest groups of citizens, which motivate the participation not consent with a present political policy of the Russian power in a proceeding wide wave of meetings, as well as the reasons for the protest activity of the masses. It is noted that the specificity of the political socialization of people in contemporary Russia is characterized by that there is a stratification of three opposition is socializing waves connected with the events of a present protest wave, protest Perestroika and protest "Children of the Arbat" and if the average nurtures parents generation has 20 years, it is not accidental it turns out that the peaks of the protest rallies activity in our country are repeated at intervals of about 20 years: 1960th years of "thaw", perestroika 1980th early 1990th and present has begun 10th of XXI century. Based on this premise, the conclusion about not casual character of present protest activity of the masses and that the protest will be a significant trend in the mass consciousness of citizens of Russia for some time. Conducted as part of this article, the analysis showed that for the initial post-Soviet mass consciousness was characterized by a mosaic type of consciousness of a mixture of communist and neo-liberal and nationalist-patriotic views of society for the future development of the country, which is largely stratified by generational split, the younger generation is oriented more to the Western neo-liberal values of personal freedom and civil rights, the older generation has seen a return to a stable existence in his address to the Soviet experience of the communist past, and the average generation forked to those who were able to adapt to the post-Soviet Russian life, sharing their most Western values, contribute to improving the their lives and those who adapt, could not, and increasingly turned to the national-patriotic views, now segmentation of the mass consciousness of Russians is not by generation, but because "for" or "against" you're an existing political power, no matter to what social group they belong to.
