COGNITIVE STRATEGIES OF EMOTION RECOGNITION

The article focuses on cognitive strategies as factoris determinative individual differences in emotional infomiation processing. It presents the results of empirical study which investigates relations between cognitive strategies and decoding accuracy, cognitive styles, general intelligence and emotional intelligence. Two cognitive strategies of emotion recognition were revealed as well as several congelations between the strategies and cognitive variables. Also paperi concerns such essential questions fori empirical research on emotion recognition as decoding accuracy and sources of inforimation about emotion.
