Review of the concluding address and last word of K.D. Bogatyrets at the second viennese trial 1916-17 sent to the editorial office of the "Slavic archive"

The text of the review, written by N.M. Pashaeva in 1963, of the Defence Statement of Father Kassian Bogatyrets which was prepared for publication by R. Mirovich for the Collection "The Slavic Archive" is presented in the material. This collection of articles and materials was published by the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Academy of Science of the USSR. N.M. Pashaeva notes that K.D. Bogatyrets confirmed the close blood relationship of the Bukovinians with the Russian peoples and belonged to those Russophile activists who considered the Russian, Ukrainian and Belorussian peoples as one great Russian nation. In her opinion, the document is interesting enough to be published in full. However in view of the fact of how extensive it is and of the limited space, it followed suit that there would be a short account of all the material with an insertion of large quotations. The author of the review recommended to R.D. Mirovich to indicate where the material was from, in which language the Address was in, who did the translation and where the original and historical information is located. Unfortunately, the material did not appear on the pages of "The Slavic Archive".
