Putevye zametki o doline Srednego i Nizhnego Dunaya [Travel notes on the valley of the Middle and Lower Danube]
The article presents part of A.S. BudiLovich's account about his travel abroad in 1872-1873. He visited Germany, Austro-Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro and the European section of Turkey. The trip also took in the Slavic lands of Austro-Hungary. Special attention was given to Bukovina, Moldavia, WaLLachia, Transylvania, Subcarpathian Hungary and Croatia. He acquainted Russian Society with the Rusins of Bukovina and Hungarian Rus'. The tour had significant meaning for him personally. He became acquainted with the prominent figure of the Rusin Revival, A.I. Dobriansky, his family and Later with his daughter ELena.
