In the article P.D. Draganov criticises the view of M.P. Dragomanov regarding the Russian Literary Language and his plans regarding the autonomy of the "Ruthenian" language. In the material are the comments of the author and the text of Dragomanov's letter to O.M. Ohonovskii, Professor of L'vov University, a well-known Austrophile and Ukrainophile.
