Ob issledovanii pamyatnikov russkoi stariny, sokhranivshikhsya v Galichine i Bukovine [Regarding the Research of the Monuments of the Russian Past Which are Preserved in Galicia and Bukovina]

A short essay of archeoLogic monuments of GaLician and Bukovina is presented in the article. The question about the collection of evidence and further research of the ancient pagan and Russian monuments of the past placed under question. For this the scholar suggests the enticing of literacy circles and scholars of GaLician and Bukovina, extend help in this to the "National Home" in Lvov, create an archeoLogic department in the Society of the "GaLician-Russian Matica". Golovatskii addresses the Russians (of the Russian Empire) with the appeal to respond "empatheticaLLy to Russian GaLicia and Bukovina, include them into the circle of their activity and intellectual literacy contacts, accept them as their own within their own and gather all, as relatives among relatives, into one Russian family".
