Introducing the Theme

The introduction to the special theme of the Journal's issue deals with general issues in the anthropological study of groups of indigenous peoples of the Russia's North residing in cities and, more broadly, of their urban way of life, including such characteristics as leadership, consumption patterns, solidarity, internet culture and a number of other ones.
