Is it possible to leave aside "the discourse around integration of migrants as a conservative anachronism of the era of transnationalism?"

The overview outlines the results of a roundtable discussion of methodological approaches to research into integration of migrants in today's world which was held on 16 September 2016, during I Tomsk Anthropological Forum, titled 'Anthropology in Search of a New Language of Description'. It shows how the issue of 'methodological nationalism' and the use of such concepts as transnationalism, cosmopolitanism, super-diversity, and deep diversity were analyzed during the discussion. Also set out in the overview are the lines along which the essence of the postmodern conservative turn, the crisis of national state, and conditions for migration in Europe, Russia, and worldwide were discussed.
