Forgetting and Remembering: Cultural Mechanics of Amnesia. An Introduction to the Special Topic of the Issue
The paper is an introduction to the special topic of the issue - Memory and Oblivion in Modern Research. It examines the problems of the study of oblivion in an interdisciplinary context and provides a brief description of the articles included in the selection. The selection of papers includes proceedings of the conference “To Forget and To Recall: Forms and Boundaries of Soviet Memory”, which took place on 1, 3, 5 and 6 February 2021 online on the basis of the IEA RAS and MSSES. The authors declare no conflicts of interests.
