Siberian Journal of Philology is a Russian scientific journal. Its founders are the scientific institutions of Siberia and the Siberian leading universities. The Journal unites philological studies of several research and educational centers in Siberia.

Siberian Journal of Philology:

  • publishes original materials and papers on the issues of Philology (5.9.), including literary criticism, folklore, and linguistics, as well as topical issues of language studies, folklore and literature of the peoples of Siberia and the Far East;
  • acquaints the reader with the main research areas of Siberian philologists;
  • covers philological scientific life (conferences, seminars, publications).

The Journal is issued four times per year.

The Journal was registered at the Ministry of Press, Broadcasting and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation. Registration certificate PI No.77-9496 of 23.07.2001.

The Journal was re-registered at the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media. Registration certificate PI No.FS77-77938 of 04.03.2020.

The Journal is included since 2015 in the Emerging Sources Citation Index in the Web of Science Core Collection, and since 2002 is also included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) on the Web of Science platform.

The Journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications which aims to publish the basic scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Science of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC).

All papers submitted to the journal are subject to mandatory peer-review. The papers are published in the order of priority after the peer-review. The information for the authors is given in the "Order of registration and publishing", the "Submission requirements".

The Journal does not charge paper publication fee from the authors.
