Evolution of the theory of agrobusiness

In paper the systems of concepts in thefield of the theory of agribusiness, the methodology and research programs are discussed. The basic attention is given to evolutionof the agribu-siness theory at two parallel levels of the analysis: economics of agribusiness, as studying of vertical and horizontalcoordination betwe-en participants of agrifood chain and agribusiness-management, as research of decision-making within thealternative governance struc-tures. Among perspective directions the combined studies of agrifood chain and the network analysisare examined. Examples of some configurations of network chain in system of modern agribusiness are submitted; the specialattention is given cooperative forms of interaction.
