Classes of compacta with semilattices of retractions
The topological spaces with resolving lattice of retractions are considered. It is proved the number of structure theorems about spaces with that lattices. In particular, it is proved that the continuous image of Valdivia compact spaces is again Valdivia compact space in case the mapping is quotient.
