According to the results of the categorization of scientific journals included in the List of the Higher Attestation Commission, the Russian Journal of Media Studies is classified as K2.
In 2023, the evaluation of scientific journals was carried out both on the basis of bibliometric indicators (RSCI) and by a working group of experts who filled out a questionnaire for evaluating journals on the Russian Scientific Journals platform.
The assigned categories will be valid from January 1, 2024 for a period of 3 years (with annual monitoring).
