THE MISSION OF THE RUSSIAN JOURNAL OF CRIMINAL LAW
The mission of the Russian Journal of Criminal Law is to accumulate the intellectual potential of scholars and practitioners for the purpose of discussing and solving the topical issues of criminal policy and legislation in contemporary social, political and economic environments.
As regional aspects of criminal policy are of special importance for modern legal studies, there are specialty journals focused on the aforesaid issues that are published by departmental and research institutions.
The Russian Journal of Criminal Law, however, invites not only scholars and practitioners, but also competent civil society representatives, human right defenders and legislative branch officials to discuss topical issues of criminal policy. Among matters covered are all stages of crime prevention and execution of punishment.
