The relationship between the concepts of tactical-forensic operation and investigative team in the context of investigation organization
Contemporary science offers a wide range of different perspectives on the concepts of interaction and investigation organization. It is worth noting that, in a broad sense, interaction will be expressed through the form of investigation organization, setting the main direction of activity for the investigator and other subjects of criminal proceedings. In a narrow sense, interaction is considered an element of investigation organization alongside goal-setting and investigation planning. Possessing a dual nature, the concept of interaction, in any of the considered variants, will have an inextricable connection with investigation organization and its forms. An investigative team is the most optimal form of organizing the investigation of crimes characterized by particular complexity of forensic activity concerning them, designed to utilize coordinated elements of support for this activity to solve the most complex and voluminous tasks of the investigation. This research considers the problems of determining the relationship between an investigative team and a tactical-forensic operation. The interconnection between them is traced through the dependence of the organizational system, represented in the form of an investigative team, and its element - the tactical-forensic operation. In the author's opinion, an investigative team is the optimal form for utilizing complex tactical-forensic means, especially tactical-forensic operations. This means, being a complex form of interaction, can be considered a unique tool in the activity of an investigative team, as in the context of other forms of investigation organization, its rational use is difficult to imagine. This phenomenon is explained by the fact that a tactical-forensic operation presupposes multi-level interaction not only within the investigative team but also between members of the investigative team and other subjects of criminal proceedings. Such a diversity of individuals requires exceptional organization of the investigation, which would order the interaction developing between them. The author declares no conflicts of interests.
